Title: Hello Reiwa
In my artworks, I often use good-luck contents (images) along with positive message in Kamiyomoji message (Kotodama, Waka/Haiku/Senryu)
On this artwork, I use "Uguisu"(Japanese bush warbler, Japanese nightingale) & "Diamond Fuji" This artwork is created when the Reiwa era started this year, 2019.
"Uguisu"(Japanese bush warbler, Japanese nightingale) is one of the most popular spring birds that lives in Eastern Asia, and has very distinctive singing sound. It is often considered as as a sign of arrival of spring. Therefore, it is also considered as good-luck bird and often shows up in Japanese old poems.
"Diamond Fuji" In Japan, there are times when the sun or the full moon moves and sits a top of the summit of Mt. Fuji. It looks as if the jewel sparkles on the top of the mountain, so, it is called "Diamond Fuji" for the sun, and "Pearl Fuji" for the full moon. Since people could rarely capture the moment, they are considered as a good fortune.
